Coyote / fox can be very destructive and threatening. They often cause nuisance issues due to finding dens in close to homes and hunting for prey in human inhabited areas. This causes a huge threat to our children, pets, and live stock. Both coyotes and fox have been documented killing and praying upon pets and live stock. Coyotes have more seriously been documented attacking children and some adults for a variety of reasons. In some of these attacks it has been concluded by professionals that coyotes have seen children as a prey item. This seems to be on the rise in recent times.
Disease
Both coyote and fox are carriers and transmitters of a variety of diseases, some of which are very harmful to humans and pets. They are noted to carry and transmit distemper, rabies, and sarcoptic mange. They also introduce a variety of parasites, including ticks, mites, fleas, etc and thus the diseases associated with them.
