This fisher was eating my customer's chickens. They lost 18 chickens in 2 weeks! Fisher is gone and we have another happy customer.Fishers are excellent hunters. They are tireless hunters that hunt day and night, this due to a fast metabolism that keeps them on the move in search of food. They are known to clean out chicken coops in a very short time and prey upon small pets such as cats and small dogs. They are solitary animals that have large home ranges and will defend them aggressively if needed. Pets are seen as a potential threat and competition to hunting areas and as potential prey.
